SHIPPING INFORMATION
New Shipping Methods and Prices as of 15/09/11:
As always we are trying to save our customers money where possible. In light of this we have now got new shipping methods which are detailed below:
Standard Delivery - This is the default shipping method and is provided by Royal Mail. It is their First Class Service and any items posted using this method should arrive in 1 to 3 days from posting. No Insurance is provided for this service. No Signature is required however if the item does not fit through the letter box someone will be required to accept delivery.
Super Saver - This is currently the cheapest method of shipping and is provided by Royal Mail. It is their Second Class Service and any items posted using this method should arrive in 3 to 5 days from posting. No Insurance is provided for this service. No Signature is required however if the item does not fit through the letter box someone will be required to accept delivery.
Courier 1 Day - This is a new service provided by Express 2000. It allows us to ship large and heavy items out to you for a 24 hour delivery with included insurance for loss or damage of your items. Note someone will be required to accept delivery for this item.
Courier Saturday - This is a new service provided by Express 2000. It is identical to the Courier 1 Day service apart from it is for Saturday Deliveries.
Internal Delivery - COMING SOON - Coming soon we will be offering delivery within DHCD Computing through our Engineers. If you live in the Sussex area one of our Engineers can drop off your order and you will only pay our callout charge for that zone (Zone 1 is free which means free delivery).
Online Downoad - This option is only available on our Software Package and allows you to download the software right from purchase.
Please note that not all shipping methods are available for all orders so certain options may not be displayed at checkout stage.
RETURNS INFORMATION
DHCD Computing have different Returns Polices of different products. Please see which category your item is in to understand our policy:
All Items
All incorrect items whether we made the mistake or you ordered the wrong item you must let us know of the mistake within 5 working days of the order being received. We will then give you 14 days to get the item back to us in its orginal condition. In certain cases (see below) any Security Seals must be intact.
If you receive an item that is faulty on delivery then please contact us within 5 working days to arrange for the item to be sent back and a replacement sent out. In certain cases we may not require the original item to be sent back (please check with us first).
If the item is delivered in a damaged state or any seals have been broken then please state to the Delivering person that you are refusing delivery due to this and to send back to sender. We cannot be held responsible for damaged, missing or used items/license codes if arrived in this condition and you accept delivery.
DHCD Computing Branded Software
If the software is branded by DHCD Computing then we offer a 30 day money back gurantee if you are unhappy with the product. Upon refund we will cancel and blacklist the license so it can no longer be used. We also require that it be uninstalled on any computer it was installed on and the media destroyed.
3rd Party Branded Software
We offer refunds on 3rd Party Branded Software providing that the Security Seal has not been broken and the License Code hasn't been used. If the wrong item was sent we will send out the correct item upon receipt of the orginal item being sent back (in these circumstances we will also refund postage back to us at a service we choose) If the incorrect item was ordered than you will have to send back to us at your cost for a refund or exchange for the correct item. If the product has been opened / License Code used or you are unhappy with the product then you will need to contact the manufacture directly.
DHCD Computing Branded Hardware Including Computer Builds
In the event of an incorrect item sent then we will either arrange collection of the item or ask you to send it back to us using the service we choose and we will offer a refund for the postage and send out the correct item. If you have ordered the wrong item then you must send the item back to us at your own expense and we will then provide a full refund.
3rd Party Branded Hardware
We will provide a full refund on 3rd Party Hardware if the item received was fault on arrival. If we sent out the wrong item we will arrange collection and dispatch the correct item. If you ordered the incorrect item but that packaging hasn't been opened then we will arrange collection at your expense and a small charge may apply. If the the packaging has been opened then please contact us for further information.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
SOFTWARE
Software does not come with any Warranties unless provided by the 3rd party manufacture
HARDWARE
DHCD Branded Hardware comes with a 1 Years Standard Warranty. If an item becomes faulty within the first year of purchase then send the item back to us and we will replace it. In the event of a Built Computer we may require you to do some troubleshooting over the phone first to diagnose what part of it is not working. In certain cases we may offer more than a years warranty on certain parts, These items will state in their Product Descriptions in the event of an extended warranty. 3rd Party Hardware please check with the manufacture to what warranty they provide. 3rd Party Hardware is normally 1 Year minimum Warranty however some items like Crucial memory come with a lifetime warranty. Please check with Manufacture or on the Product Description page of our shop for further information on warranty.
